Job Summary
A leading ophthalmic center is seeking an accomplished Consultant Oculoplastic Surgeon with advanced expertise in both functional and aesthetic periocular surgery. The successful candidate will deliver high‑quality care across reconstructive, trauma, orbital, and cosmetic domains while working within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform a full spectrum of eyelid, orbital, and lacrimal surgeries, including complex reconstructive procedures
- Manage trauma cases, periocular tumors, and post‑oncologic reconstruction
- Provide aesthetic oculoplastic services, including upper and lower blepharoplasty, injectables, and minimally invasive rejuvenation procedures
- Collaborate closely with dermatology, oncology, and maxillofacial teams to ensure comprehensive patient management
- Contribute to clinical governance, quality improvement, and training initiatives within the department
Requirements
- Tier 1 medical qualification, such as:
- American Board Certification
- UK CCT
- Canadian Fellowship
- Australian/New Zealand Fellowship
- Fellowship training in Oculoplastic Surgery from a recognized institution
- Demonstrated expertise in reconstructive and cosmetic oculoplastic procedures
- Eligibility for or possession of a DOH (Department of Health) license
- Strong interpersonal skills and commitment to evidence‑based, patient‑centered care
