🩺 Role Summary
We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Consultant Pediatric Nephrologist to join a leading healthcare facility in Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will provide expert care for children with kidney disorders, lead multidisciplinary teams, and contribute to clinical excellence, education, and research in pediatric nephrology.
🔍 Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic kidney diseases in neonates, infants, children, and adolescents
- Provide specialized care including dialysis, renal biopsies, and transplant coordination
- Conduct inpatient and outpatient consultations, including emergency coverage and on-call duties
- Collaborate with pediatricians, urologists, and other specialists for integrated patient care
- Supervise junior staff and participate in training programs for residents and fellows
- Engage in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and departmental strategy
- Participate in research, publications, and continuing medical education activities
- Advocate for pediatric kidney health and educate families on disease management and prevention
🎓 Qualifications & Experience
- Medical degree from a recognized institution
- Board certification in Pediatric Nephrology (e.g., American Board, Royal College, or equivalent)
- Minimum 5 years of post-specialization experience in pediatric nephrology
- Eligibility for licensing with the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS)
- Western training preferred (US, UK, Canada, Europe)
- Strong clinical, diagnostic, and interpersonal skills
