Role Summary
We are seeking a highly qualified Consultant Pediatric Orthopedic Surgeon to join a premier healthcare institution in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will demonstrate advanced expertise in surgical and non-surgical management of pediatric musculoskeletal conditions, with a strong commitment to clinical excellence and child-focused care.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat congenital, developmental, and acquired musculoskeletal conditions in infants, children, and adolescents
- Perform advanced pediatric orthopedic procedures, including fracture management, limb deformity correction, clubfoot treatment, and spinal deformities
- Collaborate with pediatricians, anesthesiologists, radiologists, and rehabilitation specialists to provide integrated, family-centered care
- Participate in surgical planning, preoperative evaluation, and post-operative rehabilitation programs
- Mentor junior medical staff and contribute to continuing professional education
- Take part in clinical audits, patient safety initiatives, and departmental research activities
- Ensure strict compliance with DOH Abu Dhabi standards and medical documentation protocols
Qualifications & Requirements
- Medical Degree (MBBS or equivalent) with completed residency in Orthopedic Surgery
- Subspecialty Fellowship in Pediatric Orthopedic Surgery
- Board-certified (e.g., UK CCT, American Board, Arab Board, or equivalent)
- Minimum 5 years of post-residency experience, with at least 3–5 years at the consultant level
- Eligibility for DOH Consultant licensure (Department of Health—Abu Dhabi)
- Proficiency in English; Arabic fluency is an advantage

- Experience in teaching, training, or contributing to pediatric orthopedic research
