Consultant Sports Medicine (Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation) – Abu Dhabi at Allocation Assist DMCC

We are seeking an exceptional Consultant in Sports Medicine (Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation) to join our interdisciplinary medical team in Abu Dhabi. Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and diagnose patients with physical injuries or diseases related to sports or high-impact activities.
• Develop and implement comprehensive rehabilitation programs to treat injuries in a bespoke manner, enabling patients to recover function and mobility.
• Facilitate patient education, counseling and preventative programs to help reduce injury risk.
• Conduct and oversee research initiatives to contribute to the development of innovative treatment methods.
• Collaborate with other health professionals, including physiotherapists, exercise physiologists and nutritionists, to provide holistic treatment plans.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Applicants must hold a Degree in Medicine and have completed a specialist training program in Sports Medicine or Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
• A minimum of 3 years’ post-specialization experience in Sports Medicine within a well-established sports medicine environment.
• Proficient in the use of rehabilitation therapies, orthopedic procedures, and electrodiagnostic medicine.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a knack for patient counseling.
• Exceptional team-working skills and ability to work in a multicultural environment.
