The ideal candidate will join a multidisciplinary team dedicated to delivering cutting‑edge retinal services and outstanding patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform complex vitreoretinal surgeries, including pars plana vitrectomy, retinal detachment repair, and management of macular disorders
- Diagnose and treat diabetic retinopathy, age‑related macular degeneration, retinal vascular diseases, and other retinal pathologies
- Conduct laser photocoagulation, intravitreal injections, and other advanced therapeutic procedures
- Utilize state‑of‑the‑art retinal imaging technologies such as OCT, FFA, ICG, and wide‑field imaging
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary ophthalmic team to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Contribute to clinical governance, quality improvement, and training initiatives
Requirements
- Tier 1 medical qualifications, such as:
- American Board Certification
- UK CCT
- Canadian Fellowship
- Australian/New Zealand Fellowship
- Fellowship training in Vitreoretinal Surgery from a recognized institution
- Demonstrated excellence in vitreoretinal surgical outcomes and clinical decision‑making
- Eligibility for or possession of a DOH (Department of Health) license
