Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Specialist in Fetal Medicine to join a leading healthcare institution in Dubai. The ideal candidate will provide advanced diagnostic, therapeutic, and consultative services in fetal medicine, ensuring high‑quality, evidence‑based care for high‑risk pregnancies.
 

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform detailed fetal assessments, including anomaly scans, growth scans, Doppler studies, and early pregnancy evaluations.
  • Conduct advanced fetal procedures such as amniocentesis, CVS, fetal echocardiography, and other invasive/noninvasive diagnostics as per expertise.
  • Manage high‑risk pregnancies in collaboration with obstetricians, neonatologists, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Provide counseling to expectant parents regarding fetal conditions, prognosis, and management plans.
  • Interpret complex fetal imaging and genetic testing results.
  • Participate in maternal–fetal medicine clinics and multidisciplinary case discussions.
  • Ensure adherence to international clinical guidelines and patient‑centered care standards.
  • Contribute to departmental quality improvement, clinical governance, and patient safety initiatives.
  • Support training and mentorship of junior doctors, sonographers, and clinical staff.
     

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Medical degree with recognized specialization in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
  • Fellowship or subspecialty certification in Fetal Medicine / Maternal–Fetal Medicine.
  • Valid DHA eligibility or license (or eligibility to obtain one).
  • Proven experience in fetal diagnostics and high‑risk pregnancy management.
  • Strong skills in ultrasound imaging and fetal intervention techniques.
  • Excellent communication, counselling, and multidisciplinary collaboration abilities.
  • Commitment to evidence‑based practice and continuous professional development.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience in tertiary or high‑risk maternity centers.
  • Exposure to fetal therapy programs or advanced fetal interventions.
  • Interest in teaching, research, or clinical innovation.
