We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled Consultant in Infectious Diseases & Prevention to join a esteem hospital in Saudi Arabia. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven and passionate medical professional to contribute to the prevention and management of infectious diseases in one of the leading medical centers in the Middle East.
Role and Responsibilities:
As a Consultant in Infectious Diseases & Prevention, you will be responsible for diagnosing and managing infectious diseases, as well as developing and implementing strategies to prevent the spread of diseases within the hospital and community. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting thorough and accurate assessments of patients with infectious diseases through physical examination, medical history review, and laboratory tests.
- Developing and implementing personalized treatment plans for patients with infectious diseases, in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.
- Participating in research activities and staying updated with the latest developments in the field of infectious diseases to provide the best, evidence-based care to patients.
- Working closely with infection control teams to develop and implement infection control policies and procedures to prevent the spread of diseases within the hospital.
- Educating patients, their families, and the community about infectious diseases, their causes, and prevention measures.
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to develop and deliver training programs for staff on prevention and control of infectious diseases.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Medical degree from an accredited university
- Board certification in Infectious Diseases
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Consultant in Infectious Diseases
- Experience in managing and preventing infectious disease outbreaks is highly desirable.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work well in a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Proactive and detail-oriented approach to work
- Compassionate and patient-focused.
- Fluent in Arabic and English
- Candidates must have UK CCT, American Board, Canadian Board, or an equivalent certification
