Job Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive mental health assessments and formulate effective treatment plans for patients.
- Conduct individual therapy sessions and facilitate group therapy sessions as needed.
- Monitor and track patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans accordingly.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care for patients.
- Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions and treatment options.
- Stay current with developments in the field of mental health and psychiatry, continuously updating and improving knowledge and skills.
- Oversee and supervise junior mental health professionals, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Participate in case reviews and meetings to discuss treatment plans and patient progression.
- Maintain accurate and complete documentation of patient progress, treatment plans, and interventions.
- Develop and deliver presentations and trainings on mental health-related topics to healthcare professionals and the community.
- Comply with all ethical and legal standards in providing mental health services.
Requirements:
- Doctoral degree in Psychiatry or a related field.
- Valid license to practice psychiatry in Saudi Arabia.
- Candidates must hold a UK CCT, American Board, Canadian Board, or an equivalent certification.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working as a Psychiatrist, with experience in a consulting role preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish and maintain rapport with patients and colleagues.
- Extensive knowledge of mental health conditions, psychiatric treatments, and medication management.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluent in English, Arabic language skills preferred.
