Job Overview:
We are looking for a highly skilled and dynamic Consultant Nuclear Medicine & Imaging to join the best hospital in Saudi Arabia. The incumbent will be responsible for providing expert guidance and advice to our clients in the field of nuclear medicine and medical imaging, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct diagnostic, therapeutic, and research procedures using radioactive substances and imaging techniques, such as PET, SPECT, CT, and MRI.
• Interpret the results of imaging and nuclear medicine procedures and recommend appropriate treatment or further diagnostic procedures.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans for patients.
• Evaluate and approve the use of medical equipment and radioactive materials in compliance with safety protocols and regulations.
• Keep up-to-date with advancements in nuclear medicine and imaging technology and techniques, and share knowledge and best practices with colleagues and clients.
• Provide training and education to medical staff and students in the use of nuclear medicine and imaging technologies.
• Participate in research projects and clinical trials related to nuclear medicine and imaging.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of all procedures and treatment plans.
Qualifications and Requirements:
• Medical Degree from an accredited university and a specialization in Nuclear Medicine and Imaging.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Consultant in Nuclear Medicine and Imaging.
• Candidates must hold UK CCT, American Board, Canadian Board, or an equivalent certification.
• Valid license to practice in Saudi Arabia.
• In-depth knowledge of radiation safety and regulatory requirements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in both English and Arabic is preferred.
