Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and qualified Consultant Pediatric Neuro Rehabilitation (American Board) to join our client's team in Dubai. The successful candidate will provide expert assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of pediatric patients with neurological conditions and work closely with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct thorough assessments of pediatric patients with neurological conditions, including but not limited to cerebral palsy, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, and developmental delays.
• Use evidence-based practices to develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patients' specific needs and goals.
• Provide hands-on therapy sessions, including motor relearning, gait training, and functional activities, to improve patients' motor skills, coordination, and balance.
• Educate and train patients' families and caregivers on home exercises, adaptive equipment, and strategies to support their child's rehabilitation.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as pediatricians, neurologists, and occupational therapists, to ensure continuity of care and optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, documentation, and progress reports.
• Keep abreast of advancements in pediatric neuro rehabilitation through attending conferences, workshops, and continuous education opportunities.
Qualifications:
• American Board certification in Pediatric Rehabilitation Medicine.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in pediatric neuro-rehabilitation.
• Strong clinical skills in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of pediatric patients with neurological conditions.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• Fluency in English is a must, knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
• Current license to practice in Dubai.
