Responsibilities:
- Provide consultation and surgical services to pediatric patients in need of plastic surgery procedures such as cleft lip and palate repair, craniofacial reconstruction, and congenital deformity correction.
- Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of patients to determine the best course of treatment.
- Develop individualized treatment plans for patients and communicate them effectively to the patient's family and caregivers.
- Perform surgical procedures with precision and care, using the latest techniques and technologies.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including pediatricians, anesthesiologists, and other specialists to provide comprehensive care to patients.
- Continuously improve surgical skills and knowledge through attending conferences, workshops, and other educational opportunities.
- Ensure all medical records and documentation are up to date and accurate.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior medical staff and participate in training and education programs.
Qualifications:
- Medical degree from an accredited institution.
- Board certification in Plastic Surgery with a focus on Pediatric Plastic Surgery.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Consultant in Pediatric Plastic Surgery.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken) with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Current and valid registration with the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties.
- Additional certifications and experience in Craniofacial Surgery would be an asset.
