Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the PICU department, overseeing the care and treatment of critically ill pediatric patients.
- Conduct thorough assessments, make accurate diagnoses, and develop individualized treatment plans for patients.
- Collaborate with other medical specialists in various disciplines to provide comprehensive care for patients.
- Supervise and guide junior medical staff, ensuring quality and standard of care.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest developments and advancements in the field of Pediatric Intensive Care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patients' medical histories and progress.
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, treatment, and management.
- Participate in research activities and contribute to the hospital's academic and training programs.
- Adhere to ethical and professional standards, and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and policies.
Requirements:
- Medical degree from a recognized institution, with a specialization in Pediatric Intensive Care.
- Board certification or equivalent in Pediatric Intensive Care.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a reputable hospital setting.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and teamwork skills.
- Passion for providing high-quality care to patients and their families.
- Ability to adapt to a multicultural and diverse work environment.
- Willingness to relocate to Saudi Arabia.
- Must be Western-trained.
