Consultant Psychiatrist (Medical Director Experience) - Dubai at Allocation Assist Middle East
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist with Medical Director experience to join our team in Dubai at Allocation Assist Middle East.
As the Consultant Psychiatrist, you will work closely with our clinical team to provide comprehensive psychiatric care to our patients. Your role will also involve overseeing the medical operations of our facility and providing strategic direction for the organization.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting psychiatric evaluations and developing treatment plans for patients
- Providing individual and group therapy sessions
- Managing medication regimens and monitoring their effectiveness
- Collaborating with the clinical team to develop and implement evidence-based treatment programs
- Providing consultation and training to staff members on mental health issues
- Conducting regular supervisory meetings with staff to ensure quality of care
- Overseeing the medical operations of the facility and ensuring compliance with regulations
- Developing and implementing policies and procedures to improve patient care and facility efficiency
- Participating in the recruitment and onboarding of new staff members
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation
- Acting as a liaison between the facility and other medical professionals and community organizations
- Participating in ongoing education and training to stay updated on current practices and developments in the field of psychiatry
Qualifications:
- Medical degree from an accredited institution
- Board certification in Psychiatry
- Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Psychiatrist, including experience in a Medical Director role
- Valid license to practice in Dubai
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Proven track record of providing high-quality psychiatric care
- Knowledge of evidence-based treatments and therapies
- Must be Western-trained
