Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Radiologist MSK (UK / US Certified) to join one of the best hospitals in Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have exceptional knowledge and expertise in musculoskeletal radiology, as well as being certified by the UK or US boards. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform and interpret diagnostic imaging examinations of the musculoskeletal system, including X-Rays, CT scans, MRI scans, and ultrasound.
- Diagnose and provide treatment recommendations for a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions, including fractures, tumors, arthritis, and ligament tears.
- Work closely with referring physicians to ensure accurate diagnosis and appropriate treatment plans for patients.
- Utilize advanced technology and software to enhance imaging quality and achieve accurate diagnoses.
- Provide expert consultations and second opinions on complex musculoskeletal cases.
- Keep abreast of new developments and advancements in the field of musculoskeletal radiology.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to decisions regarding patient care and treatment.
- Record and maintain accurate and complete patient records and reports.
- Actively participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with all regulatory standards and guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Medical degree from an accredited institution.
- Current board certification in diagnostic radiology from the UK, CCT or American Board.
- Fellowship training or equivalent experience in musculoskeletal radiology.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience working as a Consultant MSK Radiologist.
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of musculoskeletal anatomy and pathology.
- Proficiency in interpreting and diagnosing musculoskeletal imaging using advanced technology and software.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse team of healthcare professionals.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
- Fluent in English, with knowledge of Arabic being a plus.
