We are looking for a motivated warehouse supervisor to join our Atlanta branch, and help in the warehouse-related tasks, which will require organizational skills, analytical thinking and professionalism.
What you'll do:
- Daily planning, scheduling and tracking of incoming and outgoing shipments
- Drafting and updating the shipment calendar
- Creating the daily and weekly action plan for the warehouse team compatibly with the sales priorities
- Daily planning, scheduling and tracking of sample shipments, and storing its data digitally for long term reference
- Inspecting, identifying, handling, consolidating labels, stocking, picking, packing and shipping inventory per Company policy.
- Maintaining warehouse inventory and records.
- Deal promptly with inventory discrepancies.
- Responsible for maintaining the slab warehouse clean and safe for staff and customers
- Performs additional duties as required and or requested
What we’re looking for:
- Dynamic and positive attitude for uncertainty in a fast changing environment
- Willingness to learn multiple sets of policies and workflows and quickly adapt to product changes
- Ability to thrive in a fast paced, dynamic environment
- Knowledge of Turkish language is a plus
- High School Education required
- Two (2) plus years experience in a warehouse environment
- 1-2 years of experience in natural stone distribution industry
- Forklift and crane experience preferred
- Ability to use Smart Phones/Tablets
- Good communicate skills
- Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
- Ability to accurately count/track product that is being received or shipped
- Ability to create professional samples boards
- Functional computer skills
- Bilingual (Spanish and English) a plus
