Role Overview:
As a Quickbooks Data Entry Assistant, you will be responsible for accurate and timely data entry into our Quickbooks accounting software. You will be working closely with our Accounting team to ensure the seamless processing of financial data and maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Entering financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable, into Quickbooks
- Verifying accuracy and completeness of data entries
- Maintaining proper documentation and filing of financial records
- Assisting with month-end and year-end close processes
- Compiling and analyzing data to prepare reports and financial statements
- Identifying and resolving discrepancies in financial data
- Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
- Providing support for budgeting and forecasting processes
- Keeping up-to-date with changes and updates in Quickbooks software
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Quickbooks Data Entry Assistant or similar role
- Excellent knowledge of Quickbooks software and its features
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Detail-oriented with high accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field preferred
