Reporting to the CEO, the VPHR will be a strategic thought partner to the CEO charged with elevating our clients human resources function to become a proactive and service-orientated office. In this unique role you will be the architect of our people strategy, playing a pivotal role in shaping and executing the HR strategy while developing a future-ready human resources function aligned with our mission and business objectives. Importantly, this individual will play a key role in galvanizing, building and leading a team of dedicated HR professionals to drive initiatives that enhance workforce engagement, develop talent, and foster a culture of innovation and collaboration.
The incumbent will be a visible, transparent, transformative, and collaborative leader, working closely with leadership on strategic human resources issues and company priorities, all while supporting rapid growth and building our reputation as a top employer in the industry to lead us into our next chapter of growth.

Drive Strategy: Lead the charge in crafting HR strategies that reflect our ambitious business goals. Your insights will guide pivotal decisions with the leadership teams ensuring HR strategies are integrated with corporate goals.
Foster Culture: Champion a workplace culture that embodies our core values and promotes innovation, collaboration, and inclusivity. Implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and productivity while leading efforts to advance diversity, equity, and inclusion across the organization.
Optimize Compensation: Develop and oversee a comprehensive compensation and benefits strategy that is competitive and equitable, aligned with the company’s goals, and designed to attract and retain top talent. Regularly evaluate and benchmark our offerings against industry standards to ensure preferred employer status.
Attract Top Talent: Support talent strategy and drive key HR initiatives. You will be responsible for developing programs that bring out the best in our employees, support driving the recruitment process across all levels, and implementing scalable talent management strategies focused on growth, retention, and succession planning.
Oversee Performance: Define and implement performance management systems that align with company objectives, facilitating continuous improvement and recognizing excellence through ongoing, constructive feedback and development.
Ensure Compliance: Ensure compliance with global HR regulations by maintaining an up-to-date understanding of employment laws and recommending necessary training and education initiatives for employees and managers.
Leverage Analytics: Leverage standardized HR data and KPIs to drive data-informed HR decisions, support business performance reviews, and measure the ROI of initiatives with advanced analytics.

Required skills:
Strong knowledge of HR technology, automation, and process optimization, coupled with excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to leverage data for objective decision-making.
A demonstrated ability to lead transformation and change management initiatives with an in-depth understanding of Canadian & US labor laws and HR compliance, while also possessing experience in talent management, employee engagement, and performance management.
