Job title: Waking Night Support Worker

Location: Wirral (Bromborough) 

Salary:  £11.10 – £11.55 per hour

Hours: 35 hours per week. 3 nights on, 3 nights off or 4 nights on, 4 nights off between the hours of 10.00 p.m. to 8.00 a.m. or 9.30 p.m. – 7.30 a.m. on a rota basis.

The Respite Services will offer a 10pm to 8 am night shift pattern.

 What you will be doing as a Waking Night Support Worker:

  • Providing a safe and secure home environment for the people we support
  • Keeping the home clean and tidy attending to laundry duties
  • Attending to the personal care of people we support such as toileting
  • Administering medication as and when required (full training provided)
  • Supporting the people we support through times when they are feeling anxious and may result in them displaying risk behaviours
  • Recording the events of the night in the Night Book
