Data Analyst (remote)
For our Bali-based client, who is originally from the UK, we are seeking a data analyst for their Digital Asset Hedge Fund. The client has a background as the COO of a commodities hedge fund and is currently the CIO of a Digital Asset Hedge Fund. The successful candidate will work for the hedge fund which invests capital from its private investors to generate alpha. As a data analyst, your role will involve analyzing large amounts of data from the crypto markets to backtest scenarios, find patterns, and make educated investment decisions.
- Part-Time / 20 hours a week (Start will be less hours)
- Remote job (Singapore time zone)
- Monthly Starting Salary: $250 - $400
Responsibilities
- Collect, organize, and manage data from various traditional financial & digital asset markets.
- Perform and automate data analysis to extract actionable insights.
- Backtest investment scenarios to assess potential outcomes.
- Analyze market reactions to specific events and trends.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a data analyst, preferably for a financial firm.
- Background in digital assets or cryptocurrency investments is highly desirable.
- Strong background in data analytics, econometrics, or related fields.
- Deep interest in financial and digital asset markets.
- Proficiency in working with large datasets and a keen eye for detail.
- Passion for numbers and quantitative analysis.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
