Inventory Analyst - E-commerce (remote)
Are you a data-driven professional with a passion for optimizing supply chains? An established e-commerce company based in Madrid is seeking an Inventory Analyst to join the dynamic Purchase/Supply Chain team. This role primarily focuses on inventory management, data analysis, and process improvement.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Monitor stock levels across all product lines to prevent shortages or overstock.
- Place timely and accurate purchase orders with suppliers to ensure consistent inventory flow.
- Utilize advanced Excel skills to model, analyze, and interpret inventory and supply chain data.
- Identify areas for improvement in inventory management processes using data-driven insights.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize inventory levels and minimize holding costs.
- Work closely with the purchasing, supply chain, and other relevant departments to ensure seamless collaboration and efficient operations.
Who You Are:
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Fluency in Spanish and English
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including data analysis, modeling, and visualization)
- Deep understanding of inventory management principles and best practices.
- Experience with supply chain management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Knowledge of statistical forecasting methods
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus
