Position Overview:
We’re excited to offer a Winter Software Engineering Internship for driven and passionate students ready to tackle real-world projects in the tech space. During this remote internship, you'll get the chance to work alongside a talented engineering team, developing and improving features that power our e-commerce platform. The internship is designed to help you build valuable skills in a real-world, fast-paced environment while contributing to the success of Betabrand.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development and maintenance of web applications and services throughout the winter season.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
  • Participate in code reviews, bug fixes, and debugging sessions to improve the platform.
  • Contribute to the performance, reliability, and scalability of our digital systems.
  • Help develop new features that enhance user experience for our customers.
  • Write and run automated tests to ensure high-quality releases.
  • Support the ongoing development of internal tools and infrastructure.
  • Stay current with industry best practices, learning opportunities, and emerging technologies.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., JavaScript, Python, Ruby).
  • Basic understanding of web development frameworks (e.g., React, Node.js).
  • Familiarity with databases and version control (e.g., Git).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively in a remote setting.
  • A passion for learning and an interest in how technology drives the e-commerce experience.
