Binary Builders is an innovative blockchain technology company that focuses on building software for the Interchain future. We maintain the Cosmos SDK, the interchain’s business development team under the Interchain Builders Program and operate Validators on a variety of chains. Headquartered in Switzerland, we are a distributed team that works in CET timezone. We make sure to have regular catch-ups, whether asynchronous, or in-person through our company retreats or the various blockchain events out there. We value building world-class software while having fun along the way.
The Cosmos SDK is a framework for building blockchain applications in Go. It's designed to simplify the process of constructing a secure and scalable blockchain for use in various applications, from cryptocurrencies to decentralized finance (DeFi) projects. At its core, the Cosmos SDK is modular, allowing developers to pick and choose from a set of pre-built modules while also providing the flexibility to create custom modules to suit specific needs. As the Cosmos SDK enters new markets, new challenges emerge. If you enjoy new challenges and new technology this is the place to work.
Binary operates Validators on a variety of networks. A validator helps secure a network through the process of staking or other means. We operate specifically in the Cosmos ecosystem with our current validators, but are looking to expand elsewhere.
We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our engineering team. The DevOps Engineer will work collaboratively with software developers to deploy, test and operate testing environments. They will help automate and streamline our processes, build and maintain tools for deployment, monitoring, and operations. Additionally, they will troubleshoot and resolve issues in our dev environments.
As we look to expand our presence we are looking to build up devops knowledge to help assist the current maintainers of the validators. To operate a validator it is required to have high uptime, secure servers and different setups based on what is needed from the network.
