We're are currently hire for one our of web3 clients a Solution Engineer to join their team.
The company has a fully decentralized and community-operated data warehouse, leveraging innovative cryptography to connect tamperproof query results directly to smart contracts.
We are looking for a very technical Solution Engineer, which ideally, has gathered tons of knowledge around cloud technologies and programming languages such as Python, solidity and SQL.
Responsibilities
- Learn, use, and advocate the company's product with prospects and partners
- Directly own prospects/customer relationships and account management
- Construct and deliver customer-presentable collateral as needed, including presentations, educational sessions, demonstrations, starter kits, etc.
- Track customer engagement and system use to monitor customer health
- Create a strong partnership with the engineering team to promote key product announcements across multi-channel platforms, including regular meetings
- Act as liaison between customer needs and engineering team to craft customer roadmaps
- Ideate and even possibly construct new starter kits / data products atop based on customer interest and value
- Post-product launch: track and retire revenue quotas
Requirements
- 2 to 5 years of experience as a Solution Engineer in B2B, SaaS technology
- Superb communication skills, both written (English) and verbal.
- Technical understanding of distributed computing at scale, including a deeper understanding of one or two specific systems.
- Direct analytic experience, including delivery of real business value. Ability to digest complex technical concepts into simple ideas that deliver understanding.
- Understanding of SDLC and project management, particularly Agile Scrum and Kanban
- Experience documenting complex technical ideas simply into the best format for distribution
- Light programming experience, in any procedural language (Python/Rust preferred)
- High-level knowledge of Crypto-Industry, including Blockchain, Web3, CryptoCurrency, DeFi, dApps, etc.
Nice to have:
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
- Experience working with Ignite, Spark, Arrow or large MPP Data Platforms
