Family Nurse Practitioner Responsibilities:

• Take Complete Medical History
• Diagnose and treat common medical problems
• Manage acute and chronic illness collaborating as needed with the M.D
• Provide patient education and preventive medicine as clinically indicated
• Follow up on tests and prescriptions being renewed

Family Nurse Practitioner Requirements:

• FNP should have a minimum of 2 years experience in Family Medicine
• License or in the process of licensing in Rhode Island
• Prefer experience with an underserved population
