Driver Team Leader – Bristol Business Improvement District (BID) Pump Van
Purpose of the role:
Based in Bristol City Centre, BID area
You will be working as part of a two - person team to undertake deep cleaning and graffiti removal work using power washing equipment, with the support of a pump crew operative and responding to businesses in the Bristol BID area.
Provide a visible presence in the city centre, giving excellent customer service and to provide a warm welcome to everyone in the BID area & wider city centre.
Be ambassadorial, friendly & knowledgeable about Bristol and the BID by responding to requests for information, directions and promoting Bristol as a great place to be.
Be able to communicate professionally face to face and by telephone and social media.
Respond to concerns raised by levy payer and non-levy payer businesses within the BID area.
Conduct regular visual audits, report health and safety hazards, respond to cleansing issues ensuring problems are resolved as quickly as possible.
Portray a professional and responsive image of yourself and the BID.
Work collaboratively and closely with a variety of businesses and city partners.

General Accountabilities:
The post holder is responsible to maintain a safe working environment and ensure as reasonably practicable that safe working practices are adopted by employees within the work environment
Work in compliance with Codes of Conduct, regulations and policies
Essential Requirements:
•To have a full clean HGV/Class 2 licence
•Be over 25 years of age to meet our insurance criteria
•Excellent communication skills and to be comfortable with people in a range of situations.
•Be a self-starter, a problem solver and a good team player.
•Be competent with technology and recording data.
•Work in all weathers and be physically fit to carry out tasks.
•To ensure designated cleansing duties are carried out to the expected standard, and all task and duties are completed within required timeframes
•Work individually or as part of a team
•Ensure the equipment used is correct for the job, kept safe and maintained to a good standard
Desirable:
•NEBOSH / ISOH Training / COSHH Training
•Manual Handling training
•First AID Training
All PPE and uniform will be supplied
All associated training will be given.
