As our Marketing Assistant, you will work closely with the Marketing Manager to develop and implement marketing strategies and campaigns that will increase brand awareness and drive sales. Your main focus will be to support the execution of digital and social media marketing initiatives, but you will also have the opportunity to get involved in other aspects of marketing such as event planning, content creation, and influencer partnerships.
Key responsibilities:
- Support the Marketing Manager in developing and executing marketing plans and campaigns across digital and social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and Google Ads
- Collaborate with the design team to create on-brand graphics and visuals for social media posts, email marketing, and online advertisements
- Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns and report on key metrics
- Conduct market research and keep up-to-date with industry trends and competitors’ activities
- Help organize and coordinate company events, trade shows, and product launches
- Assist with the creation of marketing materials such as brochures, flyers, and catalogs
- Manage and maintain social media content calendar and schedule posts
- Engage with followers and respond to customer inquiries and comments on social media platforms
- Cultivate relationships with influencers and manage influencer partnerships
- Assist with the development and distribution of email marketing campaigns
- Support the Marketing Manager in day-to-day administrative tasks such as budget tracking, invoice processing, and vendor management
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
- 1-2 years of experience in marketing, social media, or a related field
- Proficient in social media management and monitoring tools such as Hootsuite, Buffer, or Sprout Social
- Knowledge of digital marketing and social media trends and best practices
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize projects effectively
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Passion for the outdoors and sustainable living preferred
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) is a plus
- Experience with event planning and coordination is a plus
