Our company is looking to hire a Marketing Assistant who will be working closely with our marketing team to develop and implement marketing plans and strategies for our brands. As a successful hire, you will be tasked with helping identify marketing trends and opportunities for growth, as well as helping to launch marketing campaigns for charity organizations that makes people stop, drop what they’re doing and get on board with the mission we’re on now.
You will be giving presentations about our ongoing campaigns and set up reoccurring promotional events. You will work side by side with our marketing and sales teams.
To be chosen for this role, you must have or expect a Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field. Prior work experience in administration, sales, or marketing is a plus. Effective written and verbal communication skills and a high level of attention to detail are both important keys to success in this role.
Responsibilities
- Collaborating with the marketing manager, internal teams, clients and partners on marketing strategy.
- Helping identify marketing trends and key opportunities for innovation.
- The ability to tell engaging stories to a wide variety of audiences with differing needs and motivations.
- Understanding of the different communications channels and the role of segmentation in communications.
- Knowledge and understanding of various marketing methods.
- The ability to plan, develop and deliver impactful marketing campaigns that help to drive a particular action or behavior change, such as registering or joining a subscription plan.
- The ability to listen and empathize with people from a diverse range of backgrounds, cultures and personal situations.
- Good at managing your time and able to juggle a variety of projects with shifting priorities.
- Good problem solving skills and an ability to think outside the box.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or related field.
- Administration or sales and marketing assistant experience.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- A high level of attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
- Experience using computers for a variety of tasks.
- Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Good organization skills.
- Related job and internship experience.
