Our team of experts works tirelessly to provide our clients with world-class CDN solutions, and we are looking for a talented CDN Support Engineer - Linux SysAdmin to join our team in Europe.
In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our CDN clients, troubleshooting and resolving any issues that may arise. You will also be responsible for managing and maintaining our Linux-based CDN servers, ensuring optimal performance and security at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to clients via phone, email, and chat, addressing any CDN related issues they may encounter.
- Troubleshoot and resolve CDN performance and network issues in a timely manner.
- Monitor and maintain our Linux-based CDN servers, ensuring excellent performance and security.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve complex technical issues.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation and training materials for internal and external users.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest CDN and Linux technologies, and provide recommendations for improvement.
Requirements:
- Experience working in the CDN industry, as companies like Akamai, Fastly, or CloudFront.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Technical Support or System Administration role.
- Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Excellent understanding of web server technologies, including Apache and Nginx.
- Familiarity with scripting languages, such as Bash, Python, or Perl.
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
