As an Area Sales Manager for Lantor, based in Colombia, you will drive sales growth and expand our market within your assigned territory. Working closely with Segment Managers, you'll align sales strategies with specific goals. Your main responsibilities include leading sales activities, building customer relationships, and achieving sales targets while promoting Lantor's products and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategy Development: Work with the Segment Manager to create and implement sales strategies for your market.
- Sales Leadership: Lead and motivate the sales team to achieve sales targets, providing support and coaching.
- Customer Management: Build and maintain strong customer relationships, understand their needs, and provide solutions to ensure satisfaction.
- Align Sales Activities: Ensure your sales activities align with segment goals set by the Segment Manager.
- Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, prioritising target accounts and industries with the Segment Manager.
- Distributor Coordination: Work with distributors and channel partners to grow sales and ensure effective distribution of Lantor's products.
- Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive threats, and growth opportunities.
- Sales Planning: Develop and execute sales plans and initiatives, including promotions, marketing campaigns, and product launches.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor sales performance, track progress against targets, and report on sales activities and achievements.
- Team Collaboration: Work with internal teams like marketing, customer service, and logistics to ensure smooth execution of sales strategies.
Job Requirements:
- Experience: Proven sales experience, preferably in the nonwovens or related industries.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Skills: Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Travel: Willingness to travel frequently within your region.
- Language: Proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus.
