Warehouse Operative (Temp) at Cathay Group

3PL Resources, part of the Cathay Group, are recruiting two warehouse Operatives for our warehousing and distribution company that is located in Winsford, to work directly for them Mon-Friday. You will be joining a small but friendly team within a warehouse setting. 

Pay rates: £10.42

Shift: Mon-Fri, 07:00-11:00/ 07:00-16:00

Must have the Eligibility to work in the UK.

Must be fully flexible

What you will be doing:

1. Loading and unloading delivery vehicles, by hand, must be physically fit and able to lift up to 25kg
2. Checking for damaged or missing items and then sorting stock for storage in the warehouse.
3. Must have good attention to detail, containers can come mixed so we need to separation them by product.
4. Keeping a careful record of the stock on the warehouse management system, so that it can be located quickly.
5. You will also ensure orders are packaged and labelled correctly to prevent any returned or damaged orders.
6. Organising transfers and loading goods on to delivery vehicles.
7. Cleaning and maintaining the warehouse will also be part of the daily routine.
8. Pallet stacking and wrapping would be great but not essential.
9. With heavy equipment in operation warehouses can be dangerous places, so following workplace health and safety rules will be essential.

What we offer:

• -        Will be paid weekly, working a week in hand
• -        Receive the same basic employment and working conditions i.e. Basic Pay, overtime rates and Holiday pay and SSP (Based on AWR)
• -        A choice to work more hours when needed be However due to health and safety no more than 60 hours per week.
• -        20 min break (after 6 hours)
• -        For Under 18 cannot work more than 5 days a week, cannot work at night and are entitled to 30 min rest break if the assignment lasts more than 4.5 hours.
• -        May be an opportunity to become Temp to Perm.
