Job Purpose
Junior Animators will be responsible for creating exciting motion graphics and animations for an innovative and market leading e-learning product. They work within a diverse team of creative individuals who specialise in a number of disciplines ranging from 2D motion graphics animation to virtual production and live compositing! With clear pathways for progression and a strong focus on learning and development, Circus Street is the perfect place for aspiring Junior Animators!
A Day In The Life
- Deliver end to end animation. On time, within deadlines.
- Participates in brainstorming and ideation sessions with the team.
- Work from written scripts and VO to create storyboards and animations that communicate the concepts and messages.
- Use After Effects template assets to create animations in specific styles.
- Look to develop your skill set in one or more areas of animation or similar such as games design, VFX, virtual production etc.
- Maintain a clean workflow within all projects.
- Good design knowledge with regards to composition, colour harmony and staging.
You’re good at:
- Motion, design, and composition
- Experience with storytelling and crafting narratives
- Working with others - we are a team of passionate animators, video editors, 3D artists, compositors and writers!
- Having ambition to develop your skills and a keen drive to learn new ones
- Develop storyboards for the initial stages of production
- Collaborate with production crew (writers, directors etc.)
- Providing and receiving feedback in an honest and communicative environment
Extra nice to have:
- Graphic design experience
- 3D (Cinema 4D, Blender etc) especially experience using Unreal Engine
- Adobe Creative Cloud proficiency
- Sound design experience
