Job Purpose
The VP of Customer Success will work within the commercial team, Content and Product to deliver successful learning programs that deliver impact and return on investment for Circus Street’s customers
A Day In The Life
- Orchestrate overall relationships with assigned strategic, complex enterprise customers, which will include growing adoption, ensuring retention, and optimising client sentiment.
- Build Strategic Success Plans and establish critical goals to aid the customer in achieving their objectives and drive new usage of CS and upsell/cross sell opportunities
- Cement yourself as a trusted/strategic advisor, advocate for customers and drive continued value of our products and services. Expertly guiding the customer ecosystem at every level.
- From the individual learner, to champions and executives deliver an engagement path that exemplifies best practice, optimised for outcomes
- Maintain current functional and technical knowledge of the CS platform and future products, add value for customers by providing insight with respect to the availability and applicability of new products and features.
- Adeptly able to connect the CS Value Proposition to customer pain/value, and be extremely comfortable explaining the value of general usHi e cases across Marketing, Sales, Finance and other business functions.
- Thought Leadership to bring your own experience to bear on guiding the customer’s path to next value, and recognising the opportunities to bring other roles to bear to deepen the business and learning conversation and surface new potential.
- Managing team of Directors and Managers to deliver on client expectations
You’re good at:
- Experienced, tenured, SaaS-focused CS leader with a track record of delivering against agreed outcomes in Fortune 500 Customers.
- Proven track record working at an Executive (C-Suite) Level advocating for and securing engagement and commitment at that level.
- A rich history of growing customer happiness, adoption, and retention.
- Confirmed ability to drive continuous product value.
- Experienced manager of global Customer Success teams, managing the day to day running of CS directors and managers to deliver against clear KPI’s for the client base.
- Experience developing product use-cases with customers.
- Exceptional verbal, written, social, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to thrive in a multi-tasking environment and can adjust priorities on-the-fly while still having the ability to focus on details and be analytical.
- Prior experience conducting workshops to customers and discussing pros cons of implementing various technologies and business value.
- A growth mindset, leveraging deep account access to surface additional opportunity, new use-cases and keeping the Sales Ecosystem engaged with the customer in pursuit of the next opportunity, founded on exemplary execution and outcomes at each step.
- Provide leadership and people management to the Customer Success team including regular feedback, coaching and career development
- Act as a mentor and coach to more junior members of the team promoting excellence
- Recommend and share new, innovative ways to further develop the skills, capabilities and output of the team.
Extra nice to have:
- Proficient CRM experience in systems preferably Salesforce
