Senior Legal Associate Russian Speaking at CIS London & Partners LLP

CIS LONDON & PARTNERS LLP, a law firm based in London, is currently looking for an experienced CIS region/Russian qualified Senior lawyer to assist on firm’s projects. This is a full-time on-site role which involves providing legal advice and legal project management to Corporate and Private clients.

The successful candidate will: 

• have UK/US legal qualifications  LLM / GDL / LPC from recognised institution;
• have a Russian / CIS countries law degree;
• have at least seven years' experience with an international or reputable law firm or an inhouse department in advising clients on cross-border legal matters;
• have at least three years' experience in private client work;
• have strong Legal Research, Writing, Analytical and Project management skills;
• be familiar with the rules of arbitration of major arbitration centres like LCIA and ICC (an advantage but not a requisite);
• be fluent in Russian and English, both oral and written;
• have advanced level of IT literacy (knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, ability to touch type, experience of formatting documents);
• have high level of self-motivation, self-dependence and ability to work effectively in a team.
