The Opportunity
- Work on the architecture, design, and implementation of the Mona (the smart bedside assistant for the Intensive Care Unit) frontend
- Co-design and implement a focused, fast, and reliable conversation-driven user interface
- Coordinate external technical partners for integrations with 3rd-party systems
- Implement the communication with our REST-based backend API
- Create and maintain the Mona architecture and software documentation
- Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, primarily (but not exclusively) within the Frontend team
- Ensure end-product quality by implementing and executing development best practices
About you
- You have worked as a software engineer for a minimum of 5 years
- Experience in end-to-end software development from idea to market-ready, tested, and maintainable code
- You are pragmatic in your decisions and know how to avoid scope creep and going down rabbit holes
- Experience managing and mentoring junior team members
- Experience working in an agile environment
- Proficiency in Angular and TypeScript, and experience in creating user-focused web applications
Bonus points, if
- Graduate degree in Computer Science
- Work experience in a regulated field (medical devices, automotive, aerospace, ...)
- Ideally: work experience in the medical field
