We are currently seeking a Help Desk Technician to join our team and provide technical support to our staff and interns. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth operation of our organization and the success of our programs.
Key responsibilities:
- Serve as the first point of contact for all technical support needs of CHCI staff and interns.
- Respond to inquiries via phone, email, or in-person and assist with troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
- Set up and maintain user accounts and access permissions for various systems.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware and software, including printers, computers, and mobile devices.
- Collaborate with the IT team to develop and implement new technologies and systems to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Maintain accurate records of all support requests and resolutions.
- Develop and update user guides and other technical documentation.
- Train new staff and interns on technology policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a help desk or IT support role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and Mac operating systems.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace.
- Experience with Active Directory and Office 365 administration.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Familiarity with Salesforce and Blackbaud software is a plus.
