BORDERPOLAR is an up-and-coming website that mainly covers technology and gaming (mainly video game guides), but will be branching out into various other topics. We're looking for writers with enough experience to know the basics, but are willing to learn and adapt to our writing style and grow with us.
We are mainly looking for gaming guides and gaming gear guides writers, which means you need to be able to accurately explain to other people how to do things and have strong knowledge of computer and mobile hardware as we target tech-savvy gaming enthusiasts. While news posts will be something we do from time to time, it is not the main focus of the website for the start of 2022.
We will not impose any limitations on how much you can write as long as you bring traffic to the website. Our topics are all driven by keyword research and will mostly be provided to you, but SEO knowledge and the ability to pitch your own ideas are also required.
Applicants will need to provide a brief CV and samples of their previous work.
Requirements
- 1+ year of writing experience
- Awareness of SEO and best practices
- Basic image editing knowledge (GIMP, Photoshop, etc)
- Fluent in English (Ideally a native speaker)
- Passion for Gaming
- Experience with WordPress is mandatory
Rates: $15-$30 Per Guide/Article or payments with performance incentives.
