Dexerto are looking for a freelance deals writer to join our editorial team until the end of 2023. This is a remote position so you will be expected to work from home on a contract that runs until the end of the year.
An accomplished writer, you will be able to cover the very best deals for consumers looking to buy the latest games, gaming hardware or pop culture merchandise. We're talking everything from consoles to PCs, Lego to Funko Pops, and board games to trading card games.
As a result, you will need to be on top of the best deals from major online retailers and update articles accordingly. You will do this during Black Friday.
SEO knowledge is highly desirable.
Requirements:
- Writing experience
- Knowledge of gaming, gaming hardware, deals and retailers
- SEO knowledge
- Good organization and time management skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent attention to detail – able to spot grammatical errors and formatting mistakes
- Great communication skills – able to take instruction and keep various members of the team updated on progress
- Own computing equipment that can run Photoshop or similar programs
- Able to work full-time hours (40) without other education or job commitments
- Experience with Google Sheets and content management systems, and photo editing skills
