Dexerto is looking for a freelance TV and Movies writer based in North America. This is a temporary position and you would be contracted to write a set number of articles a day about the latest TV shows and movies for Dexerto.com. Just send us your CV and examples of your published work.
You should be a versatile writer who is able to source and write compelling stories about big current TV shows and movies. Right now, that would include the likes of George & Mandy, Yellowstone, and Arcane, but looking ahead to December we will also be covering shows such as Squid Game, Dexter: Original Sin, Skeleton Crew, Creature Commandos, and Black Doves. Movies we're covering include Kraven the Hunter, The Lord of the Rings: The War of the Rohirrim, and Sonic 3.
Knowledge of anime would also be a bonus.
Requirements:
- Understanding and knowledge of the TV and Movies landscape
- Anime knowledge desirable
- Good writing skills
- SEO knowledge
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Own computing equipment that can run Photoshop or similar programs
- Able to work full-time hours (40)
- Experience with Google Sheets and content management systems
