Dexerto is looking for an Instagram Social Media manager to join our team.
In this role, you will be primarily responsible for developing and implementing Dexerto's Instagram strategy. This includes working closely with the editorial, social, and video teams to plan content for Dexerto's Instagram properties. You will collaborate with producers, editors, and management to ensure that both video and graphic content is engaging, informative, and has the ability to go viral.
The successful candidate will have 3-5 years experience working on Instagram strategy and implementation, and experience working in a fast paced environment.
We strongly prefer someone with a deep knowledge and understanding of Dexerto's existing content, however a grasp on gaming, tech, and viral content is essential.
Responsibilities:
- Create compelling and creative content with the direction of product and brand managers.
- Keep social media calendars current and oversee the management and review of posted content to guarantee interactive engagement
- Create and analyze data to present to management
- Manage the posting of content on Dexerto’s Instagram account
- Manage a producer creating short form content for Instagram
- Identify trending Dexerto.com stories that should be shared across Instagram
- Work cross functionally with Dexerto’s editorial, social, video, & commercial teams to ensure relevant content is being posted
- Work together with design teams to develop attractive visual materials for social media campaigns
- Engage with Dexerto’s audience across Instagram
- Stay up to date with the latest social media trends
Requirements:
- Extensive knowledge of gaming, tech and viral internet content
- Short form video experience
- Copywriting experience
- 3-5 years of senior social media experience
- Ability to work independently and multi-task remotely
- Experience with social media tools & platforms
- Ability to work on weekends as needed
- Video and graphic editing skills
