Dexerto is seeking a driven and experienced Product Manager to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing Dexerto.com, our core product, a Next.js based news website with over 60 million monthly visits, and overseeing the maintenance and improvement of our existing gaming statistics website. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product management, the ability to understand user needs, and a passion for creating innovative digital products.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Manage the development and growth of Dexerto.com, a Next.js based news website, ensuring optimal user experience, engagement, and retention.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, ad operations, sales, and SEO, to maintain and improve our products.
- Define and communicate product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Dexerto.com and our products to all relevant stakeholders, and ensure alignment with company goals.
- Identify and prioritise feature enhancements, bug fixes, and other improvements to existing products based on user feedback, data analysis, and market trends.
- Create and maintain product documentation, such as user stories, wireframes, and acceptance criteria, to guide the development process.
- Monitor product performance metrics and utilise data-driven insights to inform future product decisions.
- Conduct competitor analysis and stay informed about industry trends and advancements to identify new opportunities for growth and innovation.
- Ensure products are launched, maintained, and improved on time and within budget while meeting quality standards.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in product management, preferably within the digital media or gaming industry.
- Proven track record of managing, maintaining, and improving successful digital products.
- Strong knowledge of Next.js, React, and web development best practices.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to a diverse audience.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
- Passion for digital media, gaming, and staying informed about industry trends.
