Dexerto is looking for a Tech Hardware Writer to work remotely from home in the UK.
We are looking for a writer with some experience of reporting on gaming hardware and technology stories with mainstream appeal. You will need to be on top of the latest trends to produce breaking news, but you will also have strong knowledge of gaming hardware so that you are able to write lists and guides around the latest tech including PCs, components, VR, laptops, keyboards, mice, monitors, and handhelds. You may also have the opportunity to review the latest gadgets from the biggest brands.
You will need strong SEO knowledge so that the content you produce is written and formatted to effectively answer readers’ searches. You’ll utilize data provided by our Evergreen Editor and SEO Manager to optimize articles for specific keywords while working with our editors to ensure content is of a high standard.
Knowledge of affiliation is also desirable.
Other responsibilities may include helping to prepare reports for meetings and administrative tasks. As such, a good knowledge of Google Sheets is essential.
Requirements:

- Excellent attention to detail – able to spot grammatical errors and formatting mistakes
- Great communication skills – able to take instruction and keep various members of the team updated on progress
- Own computing equipment that can run Photoshop or similar programs
- Able to work full-time hours (40) without other education or job commitments
- Experience with Google Sheets and content management systems
