Dexerto is looking for a Tech Hardware Writer to work remotely from home in the UK. We are looking for a writer with excellent knowledge of PC gaming hardware and technology to report on stories and product launches with mainstream appeal. You will need to know the PC gaming landscape like the back of your hand to deliver technical reviews that are understandable for both a casual and core audience. You will also have good knowledge of upcoming releases in the PC gaming hardware space, so that you are able to write lists and guides around the latest tech including CPUs, GPUs, VR, laptops, keyboards, mice, monitors, and handhelds. You will also have the opportunity to review the latest gadgets from the biggest brands. You will need strong SEO knowledge so that the content you produce is written and formatted to effectively answer readers’ searches. You’ll utilize data provided by our Evergreen Editor and SEO Manager to optimize articles for specific keywords while working with our editors to ensure content is of a high standard. Knowledge of affiliation is also desirable. Other responsibilities may include helping to prepare reports for meetings and administrative tasks. As such, a good knowledge of Google Sheets is essential.
Requirements:

- Knowledge of hardware benchmarking methodologies
- Good writing skills
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- SEO knowledge
- Analytics knowledge
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent attention to detail – able to spot grammatical errors and formatting mistakes
- Great communication skills – able to take instruction and keep various members of the team updated on progress
- Own computing equipment that can run Photoshop or similar programs
- Able to work full-time hours (40) without other education or job commitments
- Experience with Google Sheets and content management systems
