Dexerto is looking for a weekend TV and Movies writer to work from home in the US. This is a part-time, entry level position that will require you to work on a Saturday and Sunday.
The role would suit a talented and passionate student or graduate who is looking to get some experience of writing. Just send us your CV, any examples of your written work and tell us what games you are into.
You should be a versatile writer who is able to source and write compelling stories about big TV shows and Movies, including the likes of Fantastic Four, Mission Impossible, 28 Years Later, Squid Game, Black Mirror and more. Knowledge of anime would be desirable.
Requirements
- Understanding and knowledge of TV and Movies.
- A snappy and compelling writing style
- Have a keen attention to detail – can spot grammatical errors and fact check
- Able to act independently on writing tasks
- SEO knowledge
- Own computing equipment that can run Photoshop and be able to use it competently
- Experience with content management systems is desirable
- Able to work eight hours a day
