A DineAmic barista is responsible for preparing high-quality coffee and beverage products while delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves operating coffee equipment, maintaining a clean and welcoming environment, and ensuring each guest has a positive experience.
This is an hourly, tipped position.
Essential Responsibilities + Duties
- Prepare espresso-based drinks brewed coffee, teas, and specialty beverages according to recipes and quality standards (using a manual espresso machine)
- Take customer orders accurately and make menu recommendations
- Handle transactions using POS systems and process payments
- Restock ingredients, cups, lids, condiments, and merchandise
- Greet customers warmly and provide friendly, efficient service
- Regularly clean equipment, counters, and work areas
- Maintain a clean, organized, well-stocked café
- Additional duties as needed withing the scope of the role
Minimum Qualifications
- Experience: 1+ years of experience as a barista
- Certification: Current SERV Safe or equivalent food safety certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire).

Physical Demands + Work Environment:
- Must be able to stand for long period od time, walk, bend, and lift up to 40 pounds without assistance.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced café environment for extended periods.
- Must be able to perform repetitive motions, including mixing, stirring, and pouring
- The position requires flexibility to work early mornings
- Must be able to move safely through kitchen area, including slick floors and tight spaces.
