The Network Administrator at DineAmic Hospitality is responsible for managing and maintaining the organization's computer networks, ensuring they operate efficiently and securely. This role includes tasks such as installing and configuring network hardware and software, monitoring network performance, troubleshooting issues, ensuring network security, and performing regular backups. Network admins also support users by resolving connectivity problems and ensuring the network is up-to-date with the latest updates and patches.
The Network Admin will collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Finance, Marketing, and Human Resources teams to understand enterprise-wide technology needs and develop innovative solutions that align with the business goals. The Network Administrator should have a customer-focused mindset, with the ability to understand and address technology needs from both a business and operational perspective.
Essential Responsibilities & Duties:
- Develop and implement technology strategies that support the company's objectives and drive operational efficiency in the restaurant environment.
- Manage the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware, software, and networking systems in the restaurants.
- Ensure data security and integrity by implementing and maintaining robust backup systems, firewalls, and cybersecurity protocols.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their technology needs and provide recommendations for improvements and enhancements.
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies, assessing their potential impact and benefits to the company.
- Conduct regular technology audits to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for upgrades or replacements.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to restaurant staff, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
- Develop and maintain documentation, including standard operating procedures and training materials, to support technology systems and processes.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices, proactively recommending technology advancements and innovations to optimize restaurant operations.
- Assist the IT team and other teams with troubleshooting to identify root cause, and provide technical support when needed
- Perform routine and scheduled audits of all systems, including backups.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, Cisco) are a plus.
- Proven experience as an Information Technology Specialist, Audio Visual Specialist or similar role, preferably within the restaurant or hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of networking concepts, hardware systems, software applications, and cybersecurity protocols.
- Proficiency in system administration, network configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with security camera systems, POS systems, preferably Toast, online ordering platforms, and other restaurant-specific technologies.
- Effective communication skills to interact with cross-functional teams and provide technical support to non-technical staff.
- Candidates must demonstrate a strong commitment to integrity and confidentiality, as this position involves handling highly sensitive IT data and infrastructure. A strict adherence to ethical standards and company security policies is essential.

Physical Demands & Work Environment:
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during shifts.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and perform physical tasks, including managing inventory and moving supplies.
- Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on restaurant needs.
- The position will require travel between the corporate office and all restaurant locations
