Responsibilities:
- Supports the Ops Support Officer in supervising the OCC team, ensuring that administrative tasks such as rostering, resource allocation, leave requests, and performance management are summarized and reported to the Ops Support Officer.
- Responds to internal and external operational requests, ensuring the appropriate allocation of equipment and manpower.
- Ensures the OCC Team communicates effectively and promptly with both external and internal customers.
- Monitors the OCC Team to ensure allocation of staff and equipment during shifts are align with engagement standards, service level agreements, and the allocation plan.
- Oversees data capture accuracy and consistency to support the preparation of monthly reports for trend analysis.
- Coordinates staffing allocation through SOSAs to ensure tasks are completed efficiently according to operational demands.
- Oversees the quality of data collected in GODB and AMS performed by the SOSA team.
- Ensures the accurate publication of the Daily Flight Plan (DFP) with all necessary details.
- Ensures the SOSA team responds effectively to dynamic changes during the shift, such as staff sickness or absence.
- Supports the Ops Support Officer in on boarding new and existing customer requests, providing guidance on the necessary requirements for obtaining approvals. Acts as the subject matter expert (SME) for the team in this area.
- Supports the Ops Support Officer in ensuring smooth shift operations and ensures all necessary updates are communicated to internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborates with the dnata Quality Department to ensure new procedures and regulatory requirements are implemented, and that standards are maintained.
- Provides timely updates to the team regarding flight status, especially for exceptions like schedule changes, ad-hoc requests, cancellations, or events impacting OTP.
- Makes necessary updates in required systems such as Dynamics, AMS, and GODB.
- Escalate issues as required, where further guidance or experience will enhance dnata service delivery.
- Responsible for the health and safety duty of care at the Ops Control Centre.
- Reports any hazards, injuries, ill-health or near miss to Ops Support Officer.
Qualifications & Experience:
To be considered for the role, you must meet the below requirements:
- Previous EBL SOSA experience preferable.
- Previous aviation experience preferable.
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma holder in a related field
- 4-6 years of experience in Airport Operations and 1-3 years in a supervision/management role
- Proficient knowledge in Airport Operations
- Advanced IT and Computer Literacy Skills
