To assist as assigned in daily management and operations of dnata Zanzibar.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- To practice due care and safety while operating company’ vehicles
- Be professional and pleasant while interacting with customers and employees.
- Handle queries and escalate all complaints to the HR Administrators.
- Preparing Zanzibar HQ before employees come in set up the office Chair / Tables / TV / AC / Marketing material on day to day activity.
- Responsible for stock for Coffee Machine and Table ingredients and Office Stationary, when the stock runs low the HR Administrator - Operations needs to be notified in advance so he/she can issue a re-order.
- Collection and organization of new stock issued into the Store Cupboard, ensuring the Stock Cupboard (where the above is kept) is clean and tidy at all times.
- Running all company errands and making deliveries around the office or to external parties.
- Receiving and delivering invoices
- Management of office attendants and ensuring clean environment in the premises and offices
- Support in all tasks to ensure compliance across all group
- Performing errands and tasks depending on the need of the department
- Assist expatriates to acquire or renew licenses, and other compliances.
- Registration of all employees to relevant pension fund
- Carry out/ support visa/permit arrangement for expat employees
- Facilitate availability of visa for the staff when travelling for official duties.
- Maintain water dispensers and ensure availability of water at all times
- Responsible for buying electricity for company accommodation and office
- Help in the supervision of any minor repairs that need to be done in the office and company accommodation.
Safety
- Ensure that safety briefings are conducted regularly while intervening when there is a risk exposure, role model safe behaviours and follows up on corrective actions.
- Comply with all relevant safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures and control to ensure a healthy and safe work environment.
- Ensure safety of staff that they have the skills, knowledge and confidence to work safely by providing support, directions, being a role model for the desire safety behaviours and leading with safety.
Requirements:
- 3 year of experience in clerk and administration services.
- Secondary School
- Excellent driving skills
- Proficient in the use of spoken and written English language
