We are seeking a highly experienced part-time English teacher to join our dynamic team at dnata Zanzibar. This position will be responsible for facilitating high-quality English instruction to our in-house training programs.
Reporting to the Training Manager, the successful candidate should be committed to inspiring our students with a passion for the language and culture. If you have outstanding written and verbal English skills and a proven track record of teaching success with varied skill levels and ages, we'd love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
• Create and implement stimulating, interactive, and student-focused English lessons that develop our teams’ communication and critical thinking skills.
• Plan and deliver engaging speech and presentation evaluations.
• Evaluate student performance and provide feedback on their progress.
• Accurately assess each student’s individual language level.
• Prepare and review course material with course coordinators.
• Monitor teaching progress and ensure curriculum objectives are met.
• Conduct one-to-one tutorial sessions to supplement class lessons.
• Facilitate multi-media related activities to enhance student learning.
• Ensure a safe and welcoming learning environment.
• To comply with dnata’s quality system and safety regulations.
Requirements
• Degree in Education or English Language.
• Proven teaching experience in English language acquisition, preferably with adults.
• Strong command of the English language with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• An appreciation and understanding of different cultures.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently.
• Patience and adaptability when working with learner of varying abilities.
• Ability to think creatively and develop innovative teaching approaches.
• Computer literacy and knowledge of online learning platforms.
