Duties:
Lounge Catering Services
- Warmly welcome guests, attending to all customers using the lounge, including briefing on lounge facilities available. This is to ensure a convenient and pleasant stay at the lounge.
- Be knowledgeable about food and beverages products served in lounge, including potential allergens. Answer guests’ questions regarding food and drinks and inspire them when relevant.
- Replenish self-serve food and beverages and ensure adequate stocking of all catering equipment in lounge at all times, including regularly check the coffee machine supplies and replenish as necessary.
- Mix juices and serve alcoholic beverages at the bar.
- Arrange food delivery with the catering supplier.
- Maintain high hygiene standards at all times, ensuring tables are cleared and cleaned frequently.
- Ensure food serving and storage areas are clean and maintained as per food hygiene regulations. Requesting assistance from Housekeeping as and when required for floor spillages.
- Adhere to food safety guidelines within food storage and serving areas, checking chillers are at correct temperature and reheated food is heated to correct temperature. Check expiry dates of any packaged item before serving.
- Liaise with Housekeeping to resolve any below table cleaning issues.
- Liaise with Hosting Lead and Catering supplier to resolve any short stock issues.
- Monitor usage and conditions of all items at the lounge, informing the Hosting Lead of any requirements, maintenance issues, sudden/required changes on lounges menu display, maintenance schedule, AC functioning, etc in order to ensure that the lounge facility is maintained to marhaba standards.
- Be knowledgeable about marhaba products and services available in location and across network.
Safety
- Discuss safety concerns openly and report them to the concerned supervisor.
- Comply with all relevant safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures and control to ensure a healthy and safe work environment.
- Act as a role model for the desire safety behaviours and wears the appropriate PPE and ensures that work is conducted in a safe manner.
Requirements:
- 1+ year of Customer Service or Hospitality experience
- High standard of English language skills, both written and spoken.
- Safety Awareness.
- High standard of customer service skills.
