A Deputy Nursery Manager is required urgently!
A large, vibrant nursery that cares for up to 120 children daily is currently recruiting for one Deputy Nursery Manager to join their team.
Key Responsibilities:
- The Deputy Nursery Manager will lead and manage the Over 2s (or Under 2s) team, ensuring high standards of care and education
- Oversee day-to-day operations, including safeguarding, SENCO responsibilities, and EYFS compliance
- Work closely with the management team and fellow Deputy to ensure smooth nursery operations
- Be flexible in your role, balancing office-based tasks with hands-on support for your age group when necessary
- Support the long-term goals of the nursery, with potential for a future managerial role
What They’re Looking For:
- Previous experience in a Nursery Deputy Manager's role, ideally in a large nursery setting
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding, SENCO, and the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
- Ability to lead a team while being adaptable and hands-on when needed
- Ambition to grow within the role, with potential for progression to Nursery Manager in the future
Salary & Process:
The salary for the Nursery Deputy Manager's role ranges from £30,000 to £38,000, based on experience, interview performance, and trial. As this is a key position, they are taking a thorough approach to ensure the right fit—someone who can step into a managerial role down the line.
